Whether you remember what you see here from back in the day, or just enjoy the craftsmanship and ‘eye candy’ that fill the different areas, you can’t help but love the American Sign Museum. Want to be a part of it and help it thrive?  Here’s how:

Support the Silent Auction
Exhibitors and sign companies alike can support the American Sign Museum’s Silent Auction, held during the ISA’s Sign Expo in Las Vegas, April 15-18. Donate a product or service.

Sponsor a storefront, themed or sign period area of the Museum.
At the heart of the museum is “Signs on Main Street,” a life-size recreation of three blocks of Main Street USA.
You can sponsor an individual vintage storefront or even a block of town square.
                                                   - or -
You can sponsor one of many themed areas including porcelain enamel or signpainting and gilding, or a sign era including Pre-Neon or Lightbulb Era, The heyday of Neon or The Advent of Plastics.
                                                   - or -
You could sponsor the museum’s restoration shop, the reception/events area, the library and photo archive, the lobby, etc.

Make your mark
Purchase a paver or paint a panel with your personalized message that will be a permanent part of the Museum.

Adopt a sign
Are you a sign shop? How about donating your services to restore a Museum sign?
Not a sign shop? You can still adopt a sign by paying for the services to have the sign restored.

Save Old Signs (SOS)
Have access to a crane truck? The SOS program commits resources for the takedown, crating, and/or shipping of signs the Museum acquires across the country.

Donate a sign or sign item
Donors are formally recognized for their donations via the descriptive tags accompanying each item on display. Contributions are also acknowledged in the ‘New Acquisitions’ section of the website – as well as in the Museum’s quarterly newsletter and the monthly American Sign Museum column in Signs of the Times magazine.

Volunteer
Become a docent and help us extend the hours we’re open to the public. There is also often work to be done cataloging new arrivals, making sure all light bulbs are lit, you get the idea.

Contact us for more information about any of the opportunities outlined above.

The museum is a not-for-profit corporation: all donations are tax deductible.
